This role acts as the bridge between the Solution Architects and the client, translating the client’s needs into system solutions, managing the delivery in a complex multi-stakeholder environment requiring broad knowledge, experience, judgement, and discretion. This role is based in Australia but may be required to work on projects across the Asia Pacific region.
What You’ll do
- Act as the main point of contact for the entire implementation lifecycle and is ultimately accountable for the project’s success.
- Coordinate with all stakeholders to create and execute the project plan
- Lead the project team and is responsible for holding the team accountable to timelines, budget, and deliverables
- Exercise judgement, discretion and make decisions in areas of responsibility, such as methods, timelines, and resources needed to deliver the project.
- Provides guidance to the implementation team on project decisions
- Analyze project delivery risks with the implementation team
- Ensure that all issues and risks are communicated to the relevant stakeholders, and make the decision to escalate when necessary.
- Make recommendations to relevant stakeholders to action plans to mitigate risks and resolve issues raised.
- Consult with stakeholders when project execution does not fall within the budget, timeline, or scope to enable remedial actions.
- Consult with cross-functional teams to remove roadblocks.
- Manage project documentation and administrative reporting to keep stakeholders informed of project progress.
Minimum Qualifications
- 4 years of project management or related experience leading projects with a Bachelor's Degree
- Prince2 or PMP qualifications
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Solid project management and risk management skills are a must
- Knowledge of Project Management artefacts (Project plan, RACI, Risk Register etc)
- Familiarity working within the Software or Technology field is strongly preferred
- Sydney or Melbourne with flexibility to work remote
