Fiona Stanley Fremantle Hospitals Group (FSFHG) is part of the SMHS. Fiona Stanley Hospital (FSH) is a 783-bed tertiary hospital offering a range of health services including the State Rehabilitation Service, a comprehensive cancer centre, purpose-built mental health unit, maternity, paediatric and neonatal services, and the State Adult Burns Service. FSH also delivers specialised services such as heart and lunch transplantations and hyperbaric medicine.

Fremantle Hospital is a 300-bed specialist hospital focused on providing high-quality aged care, mental health, secondary rehabilitation, planned surgeries and medical services.

This position leads and manages key strategic projects and project work-streams with a focus on outcomes that are consistent with South Metropolitan Health Service (SMHS) and whole of Health strategies, reform, and initiatives. The role provides leadership and management for infrastructure, engineering and capital works projects within the Fiona Stanley Hospital and Fremantle Hospital Group and subsidiary projects across SMHS. It also covers all project phases including initiation and planning, stakeholder engagement and change management, implementation, delivery, and project closure.

We have six (6) Project Managers positions across FSFHG that require appointment. 2 permanent roles and 4 fixed term appointments for up to 12 months with possibility of extension and/or permanency. These roles are based at either Fremantle Hospital or Fiona Stanley Hospital. Travel between SMHS sites may be required. These positions will lead one or more of the following projects.

  • FSH Major Infrastructure Projects
  • Non-Clinical Service Capacity Reviews
  • Travel and Parking Strategy Project
  • Capital Investment Planning
  • Infrastructure and Engineering Services Business Cases

Fremantle

  • Generator Replacement Project
  • Critical Electrical Infrastructure Upgrades
  • Capital Investment Planning
  • Contract and Procurement Management
  • Capital Minor Works (Peel and Rockingham)
