An average day in the life
The primary objective of the Project Manager role is to successfully plan, execute, and close the Core Services project workstream within a multiyear program of work. Purpose of this project is to transform how we manage company and traveller data and profiles, which shape the backbone of our corporate technology operating model.. The role will manage technical and non-technical deliverables of the project, with full end to end planning and execution accountability. They will oversee multiple agile teams, can act as scrum master, and provide agile coaching to team members.
The successful applicant will have a strong delivery background, deep experience with Scaled Agile and other methodologies (Prince2, PMI, PMI-ACP), good analytical skills and lateral thinking, with a hands-on approach to solving challenges and maximising opportunities to do things better.
With excellent risk and senior stakeholder management skills, and ability to work across time zones, the role will deliver incredible growth opportunities and experiences.
Role Dimensions:
Reports to PMO Team Leader and Head of PMO
Occasionally required to work out of hours (late nights / weekends)
Close liaison with multiple teams across Australia, Europe & North America.
Work with external suppliers & partners as appropriate.
Follow PMO documentation workflow, reporting schedule and best practices.
You might be perfect for the role if
Agile and qualifications in Project Management (E.g. PMI, PMI-ACP, Prince2) or Lean related disciplines are mandatory.
Proven experience as an agile project leader with a focus on business-driven software engineering projects
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities across a global, matrixed business
