We wish to complement our existing team with an experienced Project Manager to oversee our projects within our new Joint Venture - BFHI. Reporting to the Delivery Manager, this is a fantastic opportunity for you to drive your career further, gain industry relevant experience and receive on-the-job support/coaching. In this role you'll be responsible for:
Full lifecycle Project Management of water infrastructure work across, pump stations, pipelines, work within water treatment plants and other water-based projects ranging from $200k- $10 + mil
Assessing Systems of Work for effectiveness in minimising risk to health and safety for workers and public through SWMS, Special Processes and Corrective Actions
Resolve issues of non-compliance and consolidate quality data (completed lots) for preparation of monthly progress claim
Realistically assess potential claims (variations/EOT) and progress resolution with Client
Utilise programming software to analyse mid/long term programs to assess performance against the contract program and implement mitigation measures
Implement procedures to consistently produce high-quality outcomes, meeting client specifications
How you'll connect to the role:
Experience on construction projects in water infrastructure, including Water Treatment Plants
Demonstrated experience in managing the engineering and design aspects of multiple multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects across different asset classes
A successful track record of delivering safe construction projects on time and on budget
A solid performer, with professional acumen and exceptional communication skills
A good understanding of control systems and experience with quality control, construction completion and commissioning
Knowledge of project financial management, forecasting, procurement, design and contracts management functions
A strong safety focus and flexibility to operate between numerous projects
