Job Description:About the roleWe have an opportunity for an experienced
Project Support Manager to join our project team in our Melbourne CBD or Milton QLD office. Reporting to the National Operations Manager, you will lead a multi-disciplined team of Analysts, Coordinators and Administrative staff providing operational support to the Telecommunications Wireless project teams. Key role responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Manage the requirements of the Downer Project Management Methodology by leading the project team members in the development and delivery of the management plans.
- Effectively manage any interface with the construction partners, completion team, field staff and construction managers to support the delivery of compliance & improvements across all projects.
- Drive Completions team delivery and own the closure targets.
- Monitor and manage the Commercial team including contractual and financial management.
About you- Tertiary Qualification in engineering, project management or post graduate qualifications preferred
- Proven experience in project or operations management in the telecommunications industry
- Excellent working knowledge of project management principles and project control applications
- Strong Financial, commercial and system acumen
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication skills to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
