SalaryNSLHD has a great opportunity for an experienced Project Manager with a strong understanding in asset management to join the team. Reporting to the NSLHD Director of Corporate Services, the role will be required to deliver the requirements under the NSW Health Asset Management Policy across the LHD, including the Asset Management Framework. This is a key role that will have a good understanding of a wide range of asset classes in the health setting, such buildings, plant and equipment and medical equipment.

What you'll be doing
The Project Manager Asset Management is responsible for the continuous improvement of our approach to asset management, in line with the requirement of the Ministry of Health's Asset Management Policy and Strategic Asset Management Plan (SAMP) and Asset Management Plan (AMP) requirements.
The position holder will be involved in strategic oversight, provision of subject matter expertise and advice, leadership, policy management and governance. The position holder will engage with all sites and services within NSLHD in managing data outputs/validation to support development of the SAMP and AMP.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications (and / or appropriate experience) in project management with a particular focus in asset management and policy implementation.
- High level written and verbal skills sufficient to develop, write and evolve complex asset management strategic and operational plans.
- Extensive asset data base experience and ability to run, reconcile and manipulate significant amounts of asset data to report to senior executives.
