About the role
Our Asia Pacific Business Unit is seeking a seasoned Project Manager with extensive expertise in overseeing large-scale industrial construction projects throughout Papua New Guinea.
Initially, you will work alongside an existing project team constructing upgrades on a Lombrum Island project, then will transition to Project Managing other contracts as they fall, within the Pacific Region. This role will be primarily based in our Loganholme office with travel deemed by you, as required due to the needs of project management.

As an Electrical Project Manager, you will be required to demonstrate the below experience and skills necessary to be successful in the role:
- Large-scale construction experience, ideally within the Pacific region
- Ensure that the Project Schedule, incorporating dates and times for decisions, availability of design information, procurement of materials and subcontracts, lead times for fabrication, and field installation, is established and maintained
- Provide clear & frequent projects updates to leaders & internal stakeholders that define project status, schedule, & risks.
- Manage project budgets and provide accurate & timely forecasting, that aligns with overall project/business unit objectives
- Sound understanding of budgets, forecasting, and schedules.
- Reporting internally and contributing toward monthly strategic reporting requirements
- Ensuring compliance in commercial and financial management including meeting budgets and identifying cost-saving measures
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Reviewing progress against plans, contractual arrangements, and delivery milestones to ensure they are on schedule and within quality and cost estimates
- Client communications and development of productive and positive working relationships
All candidates will be able to produce:
- A current and valid driver's license
- A valid passport with no travel restrictions
- An acceptable pre-employment medical, and visa entry medical for the applicable country
- Clear police check
