The Opportunity
As an Agile Analytics Project Manager/Business Analyst Contractor, you will play a pivotal role in managing and analysing data-driven projects. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, developers, and business stakeholders, to ensure successful project delivery and drive the adoption of agile methodologies.
Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end project management for agile analytics initiatives, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Facilitate agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Work closely with the development team to prioritize and refine the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Identify and resolve project dependencies, risks, and issues, proactively managing stakeholder expectations.Conduct data analysis and provide insights to drive data-informed decision-making.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, progress reports, and documentation of requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager and/or Business Analyst in an agile environment.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and experience applying them to data analytics projects.Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, such as SQL, Python, or R.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex ideas to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Understanding or experience using Microsoft Power BI / Azure is a plus.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster, PMI-ACP) are a plus.
