A highly regarded Project Management consultancy with an impeccable track record of managing iconic developments and being a trusted partner for their clients. They have a highly experienced management team who are well connected throughout the industry, a large & loyal client base and the capability to deliver projects across many sectors. Due to a controlled growth plan, we’re looking for a Junior - Intermediate PM to join the team in their Sydney office.
The Role
- Manage feasibility, design and approvals process to achieve the client’s requirements and manage expectations
- Manage tender process to appoint external contractors and consultants
- Reviewing project plans and specifications, scheduling, cost-saving measures, discrepancies, potential construction problems, etc.
- Cost control, cost reporting and superintendent work
- Managing project timelines, risks and reporting
- Chairing project meetings with clients and consultants
- Manage project documentation
- Commissioning and post-contract duties for handover
The Person
- Degree qualified in Construction Management, Property Development, Quantity Surveying, Engineering or relevant field
- 2+ years' experience as a Project Manager on built-form projects
- Must have experience within a client-side project management firm
- Exposure and understanding of Contractor side is a bonus, however not essential
- Detailed understanding of the full development life cycle - feasibility through to construction
- Well-developed communication skills, able to negotiate, influence and lead a multitude of stakeholders and maintain momentum and progress
- Drive, tenacity and application
