We are seeking an experienced candidate with strong engineering and coastal management experience to join our team for a unique opportunity!
With the Commonwealth Government recognising the specialist services that the Department of Transport provides, the Maritime directorate has an exciting opportunity to be involved in the investigation and engineering design of maritime developments and coastal protection and / or adaptation works. This role will be required to provide Coastal Engineering services on these proposed works and assist with their implementation.
There is also the opportunity to be part of a strategic response to the Assessment of Coastal Erosion Hotspots in Western Australia, providing strong State leadership and partnership with local government in addressing the increasing threat of coastal erosion throughout Western Australia.
If you have good contract and consultant management skills along with the ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of stakeholders, then this may be the job for you!

This is a fixed term contract opportunity, ending 30 June 2025 with the possibility of extension(s) or permanency.
