About the role
We are seeking a Project Manager to support a critical phase of our Core Banking upgrade as part of our complex integration program stemming from the merger between Heritage and People’s Choice.
To enable the successful delivery of this project, you’ll need expertise in data migration supporting Core Banking, CRM, or ERP solutions where there is a mix of customer, product, and transactional data to migrate.
You’ll partner with all divisions to manage project delivery and achieve desired strategic and tactical business outcomes. This will include managing the scope, schedule, financials, risks, quality and resources of projects to organisational standards and in line with the Enterprise Portfolio Management Office (EPMO) Framework.
A snapshot of your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and coordinating the scoping, planning and delivery of medium to large projects to deliver organisational initiatives and achieve business outcomes in line with strategic objectives.
- Managing all aspects within the project management lifecycle which will include coordinating business cases and project plans, identifying and allocating resources, developing and managing budgets, meeting reporting requirements
- Developing strategies for the continuous monitoring, evaluation and improvement of all aspects of project implementation
- Leading and managing project teams to successfully deliver all key objectives, milestones, deliverables and outcomes
- Communicating project data and information to support effective decision making by leaders and governance forums
- Managing relationships and communications with key stakeholders
- Monitoring and reporting on compliance with established standards and assurance stage requirements
- Ensure the ongoing alignment of project work to strategic objectives through effective application of project methodologies, controls and risk management.
About you
To be considered, you will demonstrate the following:
Essential:
- Extensive experience in a project management role in medium to large projects using Waterfall, Agile or hybrid methodologies in a financial services industry organisation or equivalent.
- Strong background in data migration, preferably Core Banking, CRM, or ERP type experience where there is a mix of customer, product, and transactional data to migrate.
- Experience working with tier 1 vendors / outsourced services.
- Demonstrable experience managing and overseeing the development and monitoring of project plans, resources, reporting, risks and budgets.
- Experience managing end-to-end project life cycle process from project identification and scoping through development of business cases and project plans to executing and closing projects.
Qualifications and Memberships
- Degree/Diploma in relevant studies (business/commerce, technology, engineering and/or Project, Portfolio and Program management)
- Project management and/or finance related qualifications (desirable)
- PMP or PRINCE2 certification (highly desirable)
- Agile certification (desirable)
