Project Manager - Project Delivery & Asset management

ATLAS recruitment are working with a global leading business in their area that specialize in project delivery and asset management in a number of environments including including Defence, Government, Higher Education, Utilities, Telecommunications, Financial Services, Oil & Gas, Healthcare and Cloud Enterprise.

This role will sit within the clients NSW team based in their Sydney offices.

To be successful in this role, you will need;

Essential

• A strong demonstrated experience in a similar role delivering projects or Capex programs;
• Business acumen with demonstrated capability in the contract management of consultants, contractors and suppliers;
• Proven capability of working within an environment using QA, OH&S and environmental management systems;
• Able to respond quickly to change and adopt a flexible/ innovative approach to problems and opportunities.
• Proficient in applications including Word, Excel, and MS Project.

Desirable

• Experience in working within an integrated services and property model delivering a Property Management, Facilities Management, and Project Management services;
• Demonstrated experience in relationship management with external clients and contractors with a focus on identifying and building key client relationships;
• Member AIPM/AIA/IEAust/AIQS.

Ideally you will also have;

• Certificate IV in OHS or proven experience in project management;
• A current General Induction for the Construction Industry card, and
• Diploma/Graduate Diploma of Project Management; or
• A Trade Certificate in relevant discipline such as drafting, building and construction, carpentry, electrical, HVAC mechanic, mechanical engineering technician; or
• Bachelor’s Degree in relevant discipline such as Architecture, Building/Construction Management, Project Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying.
