About the role:
As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all facets of Fixed Plant Overhaul projects within Camco's Fixed Plant Overhaul Division. You will work with a team of highly skilled top-tier fitters and manage the assembly and refurbishment of a variety of complicated components such as gearboxes, bogies, and pumps.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop competitive quotes based on project requirements, materials, labour, and overhead costs.
- Work closely with leading hands and supervisors to establish production priorities based on customer orders, resource availability, and divisional objectives.
- Preparing condition reports, coordinating subcontractors, and overseeing the works carried out in the workshops.
- Collaborate with other divisions within the organisation to streamline processes and share resources.
About you:
- A strong knowledge of machining and assembly processes is required.
- A Fitter trade certificate with a workshop background.
- Eager to go into the workshop and efficiently organise projects and tasks.
- Strong computer and communication skills.
- A desire for continuous learning.
