Macquarie Hospital has an exciting opportunity for an innovative and experienced Project Manager to lead a diverse range of Multi-Disciplinary Teams, within a Mental health rehabilitation setting, to successfully implement the Comprehensive Care Planning and Review in Mental Health Drug and Alcohol (MHDA) Services Procedure (2023).

Macquarie Hospital
Macquarie Hospital is a declared, low-secure, 195 bed mental health facility with 14 beds for adult acute admissions and 181 beds in long term and short term rehabilitation services for individuals diagnosed with schizophrenia, dual diagnosis and other enduring mental health conditions. The Hospital is located in North Ryde, 22km from the CBD of Sydney on approximately 42 hectares of parkland.
What you'll be doing
The temporary role of the Project Manager is to develop and implement recovery focussed, person centred Comprehensive Care Planning for all consumers at Macquarie Hospital. The Project Manager will work with the multidisciplinary teams, and in line with the Comprehensive Care Planning and Review in Mental Health Drug and Alcohol Services (MHDA) Procedure (2023), to ensure there is a standardised, coherent, hospital wide process in place for Comprehensive Care Planning including advanced Care Planning for consumers.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in health-related discipline or equivalent work experience relevant to the Mental Health setting with experience, knowledge and understanding of current Mental Health contemporary practice
- Excellent organisational skills and experience of delivering projects in a demanding professional environment with ability to work with deadlines and manage competing priorities
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to manage complex negotiations with a wide range of stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to apply high level analytical and problem-solving skills to develop innovative service design solutions.
