We are currently seeking a Project Manager, to work on multiple mechanical design and manufacturing projects, for a Mining Services company in Bayswater, in Perth's Eastern suburbs.
This is an initial contract position, with the likelihood of long-term work and possible permanency once you are embedded in the role.
This company primarily services the mining industry and has a fantastic pipeline of work. You'll step in and run with multiple projects from the get-go and can embed yourself within the business.
You'll be responsible for:
Managing the delivery of design and manufacturing projects through their complete life cycle
Ensuring projects meet key performance objectives of safety, time, quality and budget.
Ensuring projects are delivered to the client's expectations and satisfaction.
Ensuring the company project management system is followed on all projects
Coordinating and complying with Quality procedures and policies in accordance with the ISO 9001 Quality Management System
This role would suit someone from a Mechanical Engineering background, with some experience managing mechanical design and/or manufacturing projects. You'll have qualifications in Mechanical Engineering/Project Management, or a related discipline. You'll also have:
A thorough understanding of project management best practice and methods
Experience in exploration, mining or minerals processing industries
Sound knowledge of engineering and ISO9000 standards.
Experience with MRP/ERP Software
A good understanding of contract terms and conditions
