Form of workEstablished 40 years, our client is a developer/builder with a strong track record of project delivery across Residential, Commercial, Government, Industrial and fitout sectors.
They have a large portfolio of new projects across regional NSW and are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their business.
The opportunity will require regular travel throughout the state of NSW as per project requirements - great for those who want to get out of Sydney.
As Project Manager, you will be responsible for successfully delivering projects from pre-construction through to defect liability and handover.
You will ensure that projects are delivered according to building specifications, standards, and specific contractual requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing tender interviews
- Subcontractor negotiations
- Implementing project delivery systems
- Managing WHS&E responsibilities for the project
- Generate construction programs
- Manage financial responsibility
- Regular travel throughout NSW to manage projects onsite
- Regional areas include Wagga, Grafton, Forbes, Port Macquarie
- Construction or building-related degree or diploma
- Experience managing building construction projects including Commercial, Resi, Industrial valued $3mil +
- Understanding of specifications and drawings for accuracy and buildability
- Able to work with minimal supervision
- Very strong leadership and sound communication skills
- Stakeholder management
