We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to join our team. As a Project Manager at Touchpoint Meeting Services, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the planning and execution of our onsite services across a diverse range of events, ensuring they exceed client expectations and achieve their objectives. The Opportunity
In this permanent, full-time position, you will be part of Touchpoint Operations Team, responsible for delivering our technology focused services for onsite, hybrid and virtual events. Project Managers report directly to the Managing Director. By immersing yourself in all opportunities that Touchpoint Meeting Services has to offer, you will be making a significant impact on our team, clients, and your own progression.
Your Responsibilities
As a Project Manager, you will be involved in the following:
- Project Delivery – Pre-event: Working closely with our clients, overseeing the organisation and implementation of the contracted deliverables in the lead-up to the event.
- Project Delivery – Onsite: Managing the successful delivery and execution of all aspects of Touchpoint’s event services.
- Touchpoint are a Platinum Partner of EventsAIR. An in-depth working knowledge of the EventsAIR platform including the OnAIR and AIRCast virtual platforms will be a vital part of your initial training.
Other duties:
- Utilise industry-leading technology, including our proprietary event management platform, to enhance the attendee experience and streamline event operations.
- Facilitating regular project meetings with clients to understand their event requirements, goals, and objectives.
- Develop detailed project plans and timelines to ensure successful and timely delivery of our services.
- Lead and motivate cross-functional teams to execute contracted deliverables seamlessly, including onsite, virtual, and hybrid formats.
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients throughout the event lifecycle, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns or requests.
- Conduct post-event evaluations to assess performance, gather feedback, and identify areas for improvement.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to continually enhance our service offerings and maintain our competitive edge.
About You
- Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Business, or related field.
- Proven experience in project management, preferably within the events industry.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in event management software and technology, including virtual event platforms and registration systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Flexibility to travel as needed for onsite events (when applicable).
- A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and exceeding client expectations.
