About the role of Project Manager:
As a crucial team member, your role will be instrumental in ensuring the success of our projects. Collaborating closely with the Construction Manager, work stream leads, and other project team members, you will play a vital role in facilitating the on-time delivery of program phases while adhering to agreed budgets. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and overseeing project phases, ensuring seamless coordination among various stakeholders to achieve project milestones and objectives.
- Managing the day-to-day operations of the construction team, providing clear direction and support to drive project progress.
- Utilising your strong people leadership skills to foster a collaborative and motivated team environment, encouraging exceptional performance from both individuals and teams.
- Ensuring the construction team adheres to strict safety protocols, quality standards, and regulatory requirements throughout the project.
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to address challenges, implement efficient solutions, and maintain smooth project execution.
- Regularly evaluating project progress and providing timely reports to the Construction Manager and relevant stakeholders, highlighting any potential risks or opportunities for improvement.
- Working closely with the Construction Manager to develop and update project schedules, ensuring alignment with project goals and resource allocation.
- Managing project budgets, tracking expenses, and implementing cost-effective measures to optimize project profitability.
- Implementing best practices in project management, continuously seeking ways to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 8-10 years of extensive experience in project management, with a significant focus on large-scale projects within the construction industry.
- Project experience from $100m upwards ideally within Health, High-rise Residential and Commercial sectors
- Proven track record of successful project deliveries, demonstrating exemplary leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, industry regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities, enabling effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
- Sound financial acumen, with the ability to manage budgets and drive cost-effective project outcomes.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools to streamline workflows and project reporting.
