We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Project Managers to oversee our Remote Construction projects in WA. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing construction projects in remote locations and possess excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.

About the Role:
The successful candidate will be a well rounded Project Manager with experience in working on a mine site and construction activities. The person will be required to travel to the remote site to manage the works as well as working from home and attending the office / meetings as required. Projects range in size however you will be capable of managing up to $2m of works per month. Management includes:
- Client communications and being the primary POC
- Manage budgets including cost forecasting and estimating of variations
- Be able to understand and manage works in accordance with a Contract
- Be able to prepare project documentation and QA packs for upcoming works using company templates
- Be able to reinforce safety standards and work in accordance with WHSEQ Standards
- Lead a team of supervisors, advisors and multiple trades to successfully deliver the works
- Identify, measure and mitigate risks to personnel, the schedule, quality of works and the budget
- Plan and ensure resources (labour, materials and equipment) are available to complete the works

Skills and Experience:
The successful candidate will:
- Have extensive experience in construction and have a good understanding of project sequencing and forecasting
- Strong leadership and project management skills
- Have a Cert IV, BE or BSc in a field relevant to construction
- Have experience working on a mine site
- Have experience and be comfortable working remotely and in a FIFO capacity
- Willingness to travel to remote locations as required
- Be a leader and reinforce a positive work culture
- Have experience in performance management and development of employees
- Have a good understanding of safety and a minimum Cert IV in WHS
- Have good written communications and be highly proficient in MS Office
- Be proficient in estimating packages of works and managing budgets
- Be based in Perth or surrounding areas
- Have a clear police clearance and current drivers license
- Pass a medical examination and drug screen
Desirable Qualities:
- A background in engineering, commercial or construction management
- Experience in modular building construction or commercial construction
