NuChange Building is a family run business located in Greenwood, who specialise in second story additions, extensions & new homes.
An exciting opportunity exists for a Project Manager/Co-Ordinator to join our passionate and dedicated team. This role includes all elements of building, from co-ordination of sub-contractors and trades, to liaising with suppliers and ensuring the successful completion of projects within the timeframes and budget specified.
Carpentry experience preferred (NuChange specialise in timber framed second storey additions and new builds).
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Solving build issues proactively
- Build strong & ongoing working relationships with contractors, staff & client
- Inspect Building Sites
- Reporting job progress
- Ensuring safe practice on sites by implementing WHS Procedures & Policies
- Maximising site production and efficiency of trades
- Review working drawings and prestart info to ensure detail is correct
- Various onsite & admin duties as required
- Pickup & delivery of products/materials to various sites
To be considered for this role you must have:
- Proactive with good time management skills
- Well Organised
- Strong People management skills
- Previous experience in a similar role
- The ability to work independently and in a team
- Knowledge of building and OHS regulations
- A positive attitude
- Initiative and a proactive work ethic
- Attention to detail
- Standard Driver Licence
