About the role and you
If you are interested in joining the team responsible for building the future of the gateway to Australia, then you may be interested in working as our new Services Project Manager, within the Development function. As a member of the Project Management and Delivery Team, you will help us to design and build the customers experience from kerbside to take-off, ensuring their experience is first class and all housed within some of the world’s leading infrastructure. Together, we proudly lead a world class operation that delivers memorable customer experience every day, in a safe, sustainable, and seamless environment. We do all of this, whilst working in a flexible, hybrid work environment that allows everyone to balance their individual work and life responsibilities.
Reporting to a Senior Project Manager, in this interesting, rewarding, collaborative and flexible role that will continue your learning journey, you will develop, lead, and oversee construction development projects, from initiation to handover. Your projects are typically in the $5m-50m range and of a Civil Engineering nature, with this specific role being responsible for the Project Management of Services related projects (power, sewerage, water, etc) in a true, live environment. Due to the nature of the Aviation and Airport business, this role will see you collaborating with a high number of stakeholders from across various sectors (both internally and externally) and managing them all accordingly.
To perform these responsibilities, you will use, hone, and further develop your skills in Project Management, Contract Administration and Tendering processes, Leadership, Team and Culture building, Financial Management, and of course, Project Delivery. To achieve success, you will likely enjoy cross team collaboration and an eye for solving complex challenges, have a relevant tertiary degree, a strong history of complex construction and infrastructure delivery in a similar industry, and across multiple projects. You will of course, also utilise your knowledge of WHS, Environmental principles, and Sustainable practices daily.
