Civil contracting company in South West Sydney requires Project Manager with a strong estimating background in our sewer and water main construction department.
The overall responsibility of the Sewer and Water Project Manager is for the preparation of tender submissions, planning the construction program, cost control, correspondence and organisation and overview of all aspects of field operations working with the relevant supervisor.
Essential skills and experience are as follows:
- Experience with Sydney Water Standards and Procedures is essential.
- Quotation – participate in site visits when requested to determine quotation requirements.
- Project Preview – programming, confirmation of key components, materials and plant.
- Project Commencement – working with supervisor to confirm site readiness, survey set out, inductions and prestart site meeting.
- Project Construction – Construction concerns, issues, details, variations, staging and site crew details.
- Computer skills Excel, Word, Outlook
