Project Manager – Structural Steel Construction
Coastal Steel Fabrications is a mid-tier structural steel business providing the supply and installation of structural steel for residential, commercial, industrial and infrastructure projects.

Duties and Responsibilities
Reporting to the Director, this role will oversee the full life cycle of construction from fabrication, supply and installation on site with the client.
- Managing multiple projects of varying sizes incl. Tier 1 clients.
- Design development including liaising with workshop detailers, engineers, architects and clients.
- Preparing and executing health and safety plans in accordance with relevant health and safety regulations and client requirements.
- Preparing and executing work plans and programs.
- Programming and resourcing equipment and materials to successfully deliver a project.
- Tendering.
Prerequisites
- A strong background in construction project management.
- Experience with structural steel is essential.
- Strong ability to read and interpret Architectural, Engineering and Fabrication drawings.
- Strong communication, organizational and time management skills including problem solving.
- Possess relevant tertiary qualification and / or relevant experience.
- Preferred experience with BlueBeam, CAD or similar.
- Attention to detail, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and consistency.
