My client are privately owned civil contractor based in Hobart that specialise across a wide range of sectors including: Roads, Bridges, Subdivisions & Commercial.They have a large portfolio of Civil Projects completed on time and within budget.About the role:Reporting directly into the Director, and will be responsible for the following
- Organise regular update meetings with the team to review specific progress on the sections and update the overall strategy
- Agree project targets with Contracts Manager for: Quality, Safety, Programming and Financial
- Ensure works are completed defect free to minimise re-work during maintenance period
- Provide feedback on subcontractor performance
- Monitor progress against cost plans, programmes and quality/environmental plans
- Manage stakeholder engagement
- Ensure the designer deliverables are provided in accordance with the programme
- Degree or equivalent qualification in a construction related discipline
- 5+ years experience
- Previous experience liaising with state and local government and statutory authorities.
- Technical and management abilities
- Knowledge of safety, quality, environmental and sustainability issues
