Project Manager – Sustainability

Together, we enable our customers to produce the materials needed for a better future.We are hiring for a Project Manager - Sustainability with delivering multiple concurrent projects within mining services with a focus on process and sustainability.This position has accountability to maximise strategic opportunities to drive profitable and sustainable growth across FLSmidth in the Asia Pacific (APAC) Region, by operating as a Project Manager for the creation and deployment of an additional Service stream of (aftermarket) revenue through the provision of innovative technologies (focused on existing FLS Reflux Technologies) combined with novel commercial arrangements. You will lead a programme of multiple business development opportunities across different industry sectors, over multiple years in a highly complex technical and stakeholder environment, focused on increasing our customers implementation of innovative mining solutions as early adopters of FLS ESG solutions. You will provide effective interface with the highest levels within the customers organisations and bring strategic value to the relationship. Reporting to the Region Executive Sponsor, the role will be responsible for assisting the broader APAC Leadership Team to define the future immediate and future opportunities throughout APAC Region.What you will do:

• Prepare & work with Executive Sponsor to sign off on divisions of responsibility, stage gate tolls & other Project deliverables. Support Executive Sponsor who is accountable for P&L of additional Service stream.
• Assist Executive Sponsor with customer meetings and commercial negotiations for implementation of a series of Sustainability Projects.
• Act as Project Manager the whole Pilot Project, from initial test work; design & provide process engineering insights; oversee pilot plant modifications & reconfiguration (in FLS workshops) through to site installation/commissioning and ongoing operations.
• Apply analytical skills in understanding (and using) complex data to support this innovative project & develop additional revenue opportunities within APAC.
• Approach each customer scenario with professionalism, forward thinking, and respect, to deliver customer needs within a demanding environment, focused upon both the time horizons & potential SWOT benefits for customers.
• Develop, manage & work in partnership with high-value key stakeholders within the business being GPL’s, Service Lines and Support Functions Globally.
• Ensure delivery to the project plan & budget and manage day to day task & activities.
• Promotes a culture of personal and team safety, including others who may be affected by FLS’s operational activities

What you bring

• Proven experience in Project Managment and Business Development with knowledge of market trends and competitor analysis, demonstrated experience working in a Resources environment, developed network of contacts and resources internationally as well as a strong mineral processing background.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and programs of work.
• High level of communication to be able to influence at all levels of the business.
• Detailed understanding of key strategic business drivers.
• Customer service orientation - detailed understanding and strong curiosity about our customers and what adds value to them in the mid to long term.
