Total Remuneration $113,224 to $123,474 pa (including salary of $95,676 to $104,338 plus 17% superannuation and 12.96% leave loading)

Join our team at CQUniversity as a Sustainability Project Officer and make a positive impact across our organisation. Your primary focus will be managing and delivering projects aligned with our Sustainability Framework and annual sustainability program on time and within budget. You will act as an expert, provide technical solutions in all areas of sustainability, and contribute to the development of capital works plans and maintenance programs. You will be an excellent communicator, who can effectively engage with a diverse range of stakeholders to achieve targets, drive change, and establish relationship engagement plans which support the achievements of key performance indicators.

Position Requirements
Knowledge and Education
Proven understanding and demonstrated expertise in sustainability, environmental science, or natural resource management.
Relevant degree or diploma would be highly regarded.
Skills and Experience
Project Management: Use contemporary project management practices, processes, and concepts to manage and deliver on maintenance and construction projects/sustainability initiatives.
Organisation: Manage competing deadlines and achieve set targets and objectives.
Communication: Excellent interpersonal, communication, and professional relationship management skills for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with diverse stakeholders to identify, plan, and deliver sustainability initiatives.
Documentation and Reporting: Prepare professional documents, including scope of work, tender documentation, technical reports, investigation reports, award submissions and business cases.
Relationship Building: Establish key engagement plans to support achievement of performance indicators.
