Role Overview: Our client, a leading company in the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) sector, is seeking an accomplished Project Manager to join their team. Based in Perth with occasional travel to the site, this role offers a unique blend of office and on-site responsibilities. You will play a crucial role in managing projects, ensuring timely delivery, and fostering strong client relationships.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing projects at a PM level within EPC companies.
- Proven ability to establish and maintain strong client relationships.
- Hands-on approach with a willingness to tackle challenges head-on.
- Previous experience managing projects in a similar EPC space is essential.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and deliver results under pressure.
Responsibilities Include:
- Comprehensive project planning, scheduling, and management.
- Monitoring project costs and preparing forecast reports.
- Coordination of project-specific procurement processes.
- Collaborating with engineering and drafting teams to address project issues.
- Managing various site and project personnel.
- Overseeing the completion of design deliverables.
- Seeking engineering innovations to enhance project profitability.
Qualifications:
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering (civil, structural, or mechanical preferred).
- At least 10 years of experience in a similar EPC project engineering or management role.
- Knowledge of OH&S legislation and practices.
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
