About the programs
Wesley Care finder program is designed to assist older people in accessing and understanding the aged care system. Care finders will provide specialist assistance to help connect participants to relevant programs and supports in the community.This program is funded under the Primary Health Networks (PHN).
Wesley Financial Counselling is a free, face-to-face, confidential counselling for individuals and families experiencing personal financial difficulties and crisis. The program is funded by several funding bodies such as DSS, OFT and GambleAware.
About the role
We are seeking an experienced Project Specialist to work within the Early intervention and Counselling portfolio, to support the ongoing review and strategic development of our Carefinders, Emergency Relief and Financial Counselling services. This support will ensure current programs are operating at optimum capacity and are operating in line with contractual obligations.
The Project Specialist is a professional, pragmatic and highly organised leader, who will:
- work with the leadership team and QRC to ensure policies and processes are current, practical and being used.
- conduct program review and develop Operations action plan to ensure contractual compliance
- conduct compliance file reviews
- conduct program review and develop action plan, ensuring all programs are operating within WHS guidelines
- work with BU team and Leadership team to review CRM systems upgrade projects to ensure appropriate fit for service functionality
- complete monthly reports for Care finder and Counselling services
- reporting systems and processes are streamlined and support staff to complete reports in a timely and accurate manner.

Essential criteria
- qualifications in Diploma in Project Management
- demonstrable experience with proven results in
- project management
- systems development
- data base management
- strategic planning management
- excellent time management, multi-tasking, attention to detail and follow-up skills
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- computer confidence, especially using Microsoft Office Word and Excel.
Remuneration
Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010, Level 6, with capacity for salary packaging and the provision of a fully maintained motor vehicle available for private use. Superannuation is paid in addition at 11%.
