An exciting opportunity exists for a Project Officer in Water Infrastructure and Operations Branch. The Project Officer is responsible for contributing to implementation of the Lower Lakes, Coorong and Murray Mouth Icon Site Environmental Water Management Plan and providing project management support to key projects within the Environmental Water Operations team. The Project Officer is responsible for developing communication materials/activities, supporting engagement activities with various stakeholder and community groups, providing assistance to manage contracts and grant agreements and supporting the broader initiatives of environmental water delivery within the Murray-Darling Basin catchment. The Project Officer also works with First Nations organisations.

Contract:
Contract up to 30 June 2025.
Special Conditions:
- May be required to participate in fire management and associated duties
- Some out of hours work may be required
- Overnight absences and inter and intra state travel will be required on occasion
Remuneration:
ASO5 $84,522 min - $94,003 max p.a.
