Overview
The Senior Aboriginal Project Officer supports the Rural Support Service and regional Local Health Networks in achieving the aims of the Rural Health Workforce Strategy.
The Senior Aboriginal Project Officer contributes to planning, consultation, development and implementation of projects to support the Rural Health Workforce Strategy and will critically analyse and think strategically about complex service planning and workforce issues. The position will be responsible for supporting large and complex projects including the management and coordination of specific projects at a region-wide / statewide level. The Senior Aboriginal Project Officer will establish sound and effective working relationships within and across government and non-government agencies, and work in partnership with other key stakeholders to achieve outcomes to meet project milestones.
