About The Role

What will your day look like
Project Accord aims to enhance our ability to identify, mitigate and manage financial crime risk across the bank. This is to ensure our oversight, processes, controls, assurance practices, systems and data quality are fit to fulfil financial crime obligations.
The Project Office Manager Coordinator supports the Project Officer Manager Lead (PMO Lead) and is responsible enabling delivery of Accord by:
- Taking accountability for the coordination of the project’s management information including progress against schedules, risk, issue and dependency management and management reporting
- Developing and implementing project controls to ensure alignment to relevant standards and project compliance requirements
- Tracking of benefits
- Proactively work with PMO Lead to establish and run governance and meeting cadences, team rituals and other project management practices
- Working with the PMO Lead to establish the reporting and common processes across related Divisional initiatives within the overall scope of the program.
The role would suit an organised, collaborative, and experienced project professional with excellent working knowledge of PPM, ADF, project management disciplines and experience of providing management reporting and ad hoc requirements in a demanding environment.
What will you bring?
To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Strong previous project experience (or related business management experience)
- Preferably from a relevant background to Financial Crime or Risk & Compliance.
- Demonstrated ability, commitment and contribution to building and motivating the a project team, ability to balance program/project and staff needs
- Knowledge of PMO management, finance processes, risk and project management standards, particularly PPM or similar systems.
- Comfortable to ‘roll up the sleeves’ and work hands-on, collaboratively with passion and energy as a key member of a fast-paced agile team
- Strong verbal, written and numeracy communication skills, detail oriented.
