About the organisation
Georgina Martina Inc (GMI) is a leading specialist in the provision of evidence-based domestic and family violence services and support.
We are a not-for-profit community-based organisation providing support and emergency accommodation for victim-survivors experiencing domestic and family violence. We operate high security refuges and domestic and family violence services.
About the role
GMI’s suite of policies and procedures govern our organisation and support operations. To ensure best practice and meet accreditation requirements, they are reviewed every three years. The changing landscape and the expansion of GMI operations has seen a proliferation of policies and procedures. We require a skilled policy and procedures writer for a 12-month fixed term contract to undertake a holistic view of all policies and procedures. This will include responding to staff, stakeholder and accreditation agency feedback around separating out and streamlining policies and procedures documentation to better serve the organisation.
