About the Role:
The Project Officer plays an important role in such areas as project planning, scheduling, efficiency reports, project reports, along with quoting and tendering in the pre-project phase. The Project Officer will work closely with their relevant Business Unit Manager to deliver projects or, support their assigned Project Manager to fulfill the company’s obligations in projects both internal and external. It includes the following responsibilities:
- Assist in cultivating a learning and supportive working environment where employees are highly valued as Marine Infrastructure Specialists.
- Assist the estimating team with in the preparation of tenders/quotes, project site investigation, material and subcontractor solicitation and bid submission.
- Preparation of detailed Project Management Plans, Safety Plans, Environmental Plans, etc. and co-ordinate with Site Supervisors to ensure adherence to these.
- Preparation and submission of project documentation, such as Monthly Progress Reports, QA/QC reports, ITPs, etc. for Head Office and Client.
- Project planning including; scheduling, procurement of goods and equipment, resource allocation and subsequent control in project execution. This includes plant and labour cost analysis, financial reporting/ forecasting, production analysis and associated reports and recommendations.
- Work collaboratively with internal project support (Assets Department, HR, QHSE, technical) and site supervisors to achieve project deliverables.

Essential Skills/Qualification:
- High level of computer literacy including MS: Word, Excel and Project as a minimum
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field desirable
- Industrial / Commercial Building experience is desirable
- A Construction Industry White Card is essential
- A current driver’s license is essential
