About the role:
An exciting and unique opportunity presents itself for a dedicated pharmacist to join our wonderful National team of HPS Pharmacies at our Coburg site.
We need a Full Time Dispensary Pharmacist working 38 hours Monday - Friday until 30 December 2024. There is scope for extension of contract
Please note: This is not a patient Facing Pharmacy
Pharmacists with Community experience are highly encouraged to apply, as our roles are a great pathway to transition into hospital-based pharmacy!
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with business and process improvement specially the S100 MATOD dispensing program for the correctional facilities, under the guidance of the Pharmacy Manager and Pharmacist In Charge
- Contribute to a multi-disciplinary team in providing patient centred care and expert professional knowledge
- Dispense and supply medications in line with legal and professional requirements
About you:
- Current AHPRA Pharmacy Registration
- Membership with a Professional Indemnity Insurance provider
- Advanced oral and written communication skills to effectively interact with all levels of hospital staff
- A high level of attention to detail and precision in record keeping
- A patient-centric mindset, with strong interpersonal skills and a positive can-do attitude
- A vibrant personality and excellent Verbal communication skills
- Current Covid-19 vaccinations as per Public Health Orders
