About the Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Project Planner/Scheduler to join our Asset Services team, based at our Hendra office. The Construction Project Planner is responsible for the successful planning and scheduling of construction projects from inception through completion. This role involves coordinating with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
The role will include, but not be limited to:
- Administration duties, such as compiling reports, preparing documentation, entering contracts, assisting customers etc.
- Managing our preventive maintenance schedules and compliance.
- Liaising with key external and internal stakeholders.
- Processing quotes and work orders.
- Creating and allocating jobs for our team leaders.
- Assist with client invoicing.
- Maintenance of subcontractors in our system
- The role may require working on-site and in an office environment.
- Occasional travel to project sites and client meetings.
- Flexibility to work extended hours when necessary to meet project deadlines.
- Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with frequent interruptions and tight deadlines
- Generally, be flexible with adapting to changes in project scope and schedules
About You
- Demonstrated experience in complex project delivery, engineering or trade background preferred.
- Strong background in construction project management, excellent organisational skills, and proficiency in project planning software.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project planning or a related role.
- Demonstrated experience in project management software, P^ & MS Project training certification
- Proficiency in project planning software (Primavera P6, MS Project, etc.), and strong understanding of construction processes and standards.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills. Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
