Project / Quality Engineer - FIFO

About the Role:

The role is a FIFO project with a dedicated back to back. The role will be required to support multiple trades on site and will report to the onsite Project Manager. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain comprehensive quality management systems to ensure the highest standards of quality and compliance with industry regulations.
• Coordinate with various teams, including design, construction, and project management, to ensure engineering requirements are met and quality standards are maintained.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure adherence to safety standards and project specifications.
• Lead problem-solving efforts on-site, offering technical expertise and innovative solutions to engineering challenges.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including ITPs, check sheets, methodologies, specifications and records.
• Drive continuous improvement in site engineering processes and quality management practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in site engineering, with a focus on quality management.
• Good understanding of construction methods, reinforced concrete construction, and general civil works.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in the Microsoft suite of programs 
• Experience using Hexagon completions will be preferred.
