The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced, reliable, and motivated Project Scheduler with scheduling and resource planning experience, preferably within the telecommunications or civil construction sector. This fixed-term full-time position is based at our Mount Kuring-Gai office, where you will have the opportunity to apply initiatives to achieve defined objectives amongst a team of professional and passionate colleagues.

Mirait Technologies Australia is a leader in the Telecommunications and Energy infrastructure construction and maintenance space. With a focus on delivering superior outcomes to our customers, we are looking for an experienced Project Scheduler to join our team.
The Role
The Project Scheduler is primarily accountable for the creation and maintenance of a master schedule and resource plan to support MTA’s project delivery aligned to defined project lifecycles. This role will play an integral role delivering accurate and detailed project schedules and reports to both internal and external stakeholders.
Duties will include but not be limited to:
Create and maintain a master schedule and resource plan (including financial parameters where required) to support MTA’s project delivery and Project Director,
Establish sequence and lead time of each activity to align with client forecasted master schedules across a range of identified MTA projects,
Assist, review and critique the logic, sequence and durations of all related schedules whilst supporting the project team and identifying opportunities for improvement and managing delays,
Interface with and update an internal database repository on a “swivel-chair”” basis where required. Liaise and collaborate with MTA ITC to develop automated tools to eliminate “swivel-chair” activity where possible,
In conjunction with the Program Director and Program Manager develop relevant dashboard and KPI metrics to meet management reporting requirements,
Actively seek improvement opportunities to increase margin, client satisfaction and MTA’s overall company standing.
You:
To secure an interview for this great local opportunity, it is desirable to meet the following:
Diploma or Certificate in Project Management,
Scheduling and resource planning experience preferably within the telecommunications or construction industry,
Demonstrated initiative, capacity to solve problems, negotiate, and make decisions to achieve defined objectives,
Advanced proficiency in MS Project and Office, and understanding of critical path method,
Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) and integrator,
Able to identify where things could go wrong and initiate back up plans (Risk Management).
