We design, manufacture, and install modular buildings for education, affordable housing, mining, custodial and commercial sectors across all mainland Australian states. Our recreational vehicle work includes servicing as well as manufacture and distribute leading products. We work as One Fleetwood across our group of companies, including Building Solutions, Community Solutions and RV Solutions.
  
About the role: 
We are currently seeking a Project Scheduler/Planner with experience in the building industry. As a key member of the team, you will play a critical role in the development and management of project schedules from tender submission through the entire delivery lifecycle. 

The position  is responsible for planning and creating schedules for our modular buildings, inputting data for installation schedules and identifying and documenting project costs into estimates, budgets, and schedules creating longer term capacity plans to allow the business to prepare for future projects and works.
 
The key responsibilities of the role are: 

  • Produce project schedules as required
  • Understand project specific client requirements and identifying time and cost implications for compliance to scope of works
  • Identify and communicate scope, specification, and drawings where specialist scheduling and planning is required
  • Document required labour and subcontractors to meet project requirements
  • Day to day planning, prioritisation, and decision making
  • Identify value add opportunities
  • Document areas of non-conformance or clarification against client project requirements
  • Compliance of the management system procedures; specifically, the document control and management system record, ensuring policies and objectives are followed at all times
  • Maintain good administration practices including recording and reporting
About you:

Candidates with a background within the building and construction or manufacturing sector will be highly regarded. The successful candidate must be driven with an eye for detail and possess ability to communicate with a range of stakeholders both internally and externally.
  
To be successful in this role you will demonstrate: 

  • 3 years’ plus proven experience in preparing schedules for multi-disciplinary construction projects
  • A sound working knowledge of project management principles
  • Proven history in planning, reporting and risk management
  • An ability to plan and prioritise workloads in order to meet deadlines
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Excellent analytical skills with a keen willingness to learn and adapt
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Advanced computing skills, particularly in MS Project, Word, Outlook, & Excel.
  • Previous experience with Microsoft Project scheduling
  • Sound knowledge of Building Codes of Australia (preferred)
