Join a leading national energy provider on a groundbreaking renewable energy project. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Site Engineer to oversee the construction of a major wind farm located in the Western Downs region. You will report directly to the Project Director supporting all project matters and collaborate closely with the Owner’s Engineers and the OE’s Site Representative.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure compliance with HSE standards.
- Monitor daily performance of contractors and progress against project schedules.
- Manage project risk register and support risk minimisation efforts.
- Coordinate daily activities with contractors and ensure quality control.
- Provide regular updates and reports on site activities and project progress.
- Bachelors degree in Engineering
- 5-10+ years of experience as a Project Engineer, preferably in construction.
- Experience with EPC contracts and wind farms is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of HSE standards and project management.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
- Knowledge of the Australian grid connection process.
- Understanding of construction methodologies.
