Seeking a Project Supervisor for residential refurbishments to townsite residential properties.
We are currently seeking 2 experienced supervisors for housing refurbishment work in Newman.This is fly in, fly out role from Perth on a 2-weeks on, 1-week off roster.
You will supervise a team of trades staff to ensure quality maintenance and repair of residential properties.
You will apply your comprehensive understanding of building practices to ensure safe and effective outcomes.
You will be supported in the role and encouraged to guide and develop your team with an emphasis on safe practices and high standards.
Duties for the role include:
- Carrying out necessary daily tasks to ensure projects are on track.
- Order building supplies and materials and ensure stock levels are maintained.
- Communicate project updates and progress reports.
- Working with the superintendent & other supervisors to provide any updates or issues with the project.
- Reporting any hazards and events as required.
- Monitor all variations to the project and how these may affect project deadlines.
- Tracking of project KPI’s and provide steps to achieving them.
- Quoting of works, as required
- Provide dependable leadership.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good understanding of Microsoft office
- Effective engagement with all stakeholders
- Work well and provide a positive team environment.
- Problem-solving skills, ability to come up with ideas to work through issues as a team.
- Positive attitude and ability to handle challenges.
