With multiple construction projects nationally, we are seeking a talented Civil Construction Project Supervisor with expertise managing bored pile foundation projects. Successful candidates will be hands-on leaders who can successfully plan and execute quality projects.
In this role you will:
- Assist all aspects of project planning and delivery including construction contracts, scope of works, technical drawings and specifications, and project management plans
- Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors and manage service delivery
- Assist the Project Manager to prepare construction look-ahead programming and progress reporting
- Complete QA documentation and maintain construction records
- Promote risk management, and identify opportunities for improvement
- Develop construction methodologies to increase efficiency
- Schedule plant and equipment maintenance as required
- Conduct and participate in pre-site meetings
- Supervise and control the workforce and the utilisation of resources to ensure construction activities meet or exceed production efficiencies
- Prepare accurate timesheets and daily works records for project resource utilisation under their supervision
About you:
- Proven experience as a Site Supervisor or Project Supervisor in the Civil Construction Industry - essential
- Hands-on experience managing bored piling projects - essential
- Experience working on transmission line projects is desirable
- Trade based, management or supervisor qualifications
- Valid class C licence
- Construction industry White Card essential
- Current First Aid Certificate and CPR essential
- High Risk Work Licences desirable
- Leadership and organisational skills with ability to manage and develop subordinates
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- The right to work in Australia and ability to travel for work
- The ability to commit to a 3&1 FIFO roster
Successful candidates are required to undergo a pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol screening. In addition, candidates are required to complete pre-employment online inductions. Employment is subject to satisfactory completion.
Civil Group will arrange travel from your nearest capital city (point of hire). It is your responsibility to make your own way to the designated POH for mobilisation.
