- 12 month contract position in Tasmania
- Paying up to $170 per hour including gst.
- Must be an Australian citizen
- There will be a requirement to work on site for minimum 3 days a week.
- Successful management and delivery of ICT related projects and/or large corporate ICT transformation programs and an ability to adapt to and work across various delivery methodologies (such as waterfall, Agile, Hybrid).
- Experience with hardware installation and hardware maintenance of IT infrastructure and equipment, including servers, routers, switches, VoIP equipment, computers and peripherals, and wireless network equipment, including associated copper and optic-fibre structured cabling.
- Experience with RF, 4G LTE or Satellite communications systems equipment and installation, with a strong understanding and practical experience of RF system components and supporting equipment.
- Provide guidance and leadership to a multi-disciplinary project team, 3rd party vendors, and/or other departmental teams to deliver projects.
- Experience with software systems including installation, administration, development and testing.
- An Open Cabling Licence with optical, coax and structured (O, C & S) endorsements.
- Understanding of Antennas and associated cabling/feeder systems and familiarity of masts and associated hardware.
Mandatory:
There will be a requirement to work on site (Tasmania) for minimum 3 days a week. Flexible or remote work is limited due to the need for physical presence to facilitate technical work.
