The Position:
As we continue to expand, we have a position available for an energetic, hardworking, and dedicated person to join our team as a Project/Operations Manager working on projects around southern Tasmania. The successful candidate will work closely with and report directly to the company director and the general manager and will be responsible for all project and operational management duties.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Deliver projects on time, within budget and maintain good relationships with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders
- Manage multiple projects along with maintenance contracts at any one time including programming and scheduling works
- Procurement of materials and managing resources
- Manage and co-ordinate sub-contractors and deliveries of materials/equipment
- Fulfil the OH&S requirements of projects which includes preparing documents, implementing procedures, and maintaining a safe working environment
- Implementation of new project management software and continual improvement of the company's procedures
- Demonstration of a strong commitment to safety and a working knowledge of relevant regulations and standards
- Work in a team environment and lead teams
- Be proactive and bring a positive and enthusiastic attitude

Qualifications & Experience Requirements:
- 5+ years’ experience in landscape construction and similar works
- 5+ years’ experience in project and construction management
- Certificate III or higher in landscape construction
- Construction industry white card
- Management of construction projects from commencement to completion
- Experience coordinating site teams across multiple jobs
- Experience working closely with clients site teams
- Well equipped and experienced with all WH&S requirements
Ideal:
- Certificate in landscape construction
- MR truck license
- Diploma in project management
