A1 Custom Stainless and Kitchen Pty Ltd is a family owned and operated metal fabrication company. We deal with both large and small engineering and fabrication projects for tier one builders and various other clients.
With the continued growth and development of the company, we are seeking an experienced Administrative Project and Estimating Assistant, ideally based on the northside of Brisbane, to join our team.
Based in our Burpengary (North Brisbane) office, this role will be responsible for the administration and to assist in the co-ordination of projects and ad hoc assistant duties. This includes administration, file management duties of the planning, budgeting, tendering, implementation, scheduling and delivery aspects.
Some of your key responsibilities will be:
- Supporting the Director, Project Manager/Estimators and other key personnel
- Processing incoming enquiries and ensuring the timely processing of all relevant documentation
- Preparing correspondence and coordinating materials
- Provide administrative duties and support
- Working with our Project Managers/Estimators to manage and liaise with project contractors, ensuring alignment and communication between all parties on track and deliver on time.
- Record keeping
- Working with our Administrator in the financial and equipment required for all projects
- Building and maintaining relationships with our client contacts
Experience and Key Skills
- Experience in the same or similar role is preferred but not essential
- Experience with both Google and Excel spreadsheets and the full Microsoft suite
- Ability to multi-task over many facets of the business
- Ability to solve problems by being collaborative and analytical
- Self-motivated with strong organisational skills and time management
- Highly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to interact and liaise with many different personalities and clients
- Professionalism in appearance and attitude
- Ability to demonstrate a high level of emotional resilience
- Construction White Card is a requirement for this role
Hours and rate of pay for this position will be based on experience. Full Time and Part Time on offer. Please express your preference. Office hours are Monday to Thursday 6am – 2:30pm and Fridays 6am-12noon
