The Infrastructure Division is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Property and Leasing Administration Officer.
The Property and Leasing Administration Officer will undertake daily administration of the Department’s lease and licence portfolio as well as manage the lease and licence database and ensures it is accurate and kept up to date. The successful applicant will review leases and licences for lease terms and conditions and ensure key obligations are met by the Department and lessees.
This role will include managing the financial aspects of the leases and licences, including rent and variable outgoing payments. In addition, the successful applicant will monitor rent review dates, initiate Consumer Price Index rent reviews and notify the Senior Property Coordinator and Senior Leasing Coordinator when other rent reviews are required.

- Demonstrated sound analytical and conceptual skills to provide innovative solutions to complex problems.

Eligibility and Training Requirements
Employees will be required to:
- provide evidence of eligibility to work in Australia for the term of the vacancy
- complete the Department’s induction program within three months of commencement
- complete the Department’s training in Accountable and Ethical Decision-Making within six months of appointment and every three years thereafter.
- complete the Department’s Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultural awareness online course within 3 months of commencement
- complete any training specific to this role required by Departmental policy
- consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education’s Screening Unit prior to commencement of employment
