Perpetual is hiring for a Property Associate, Noongar Boodja Trust and this role is focused on assisting in the on-boarding, management and administration of properties while providing the highest level of service. The Noongar Boodja Trust holds the Noongar Land Estate that is being returned to the Noongar People under the Native Title Agreement with the State of Western Australia and the role will work closely with a small multi-disciplinary team within Perpetual who are focused on delivering excellent outcomes for the Noongar Community and their Trust.
About the role:
- Contribute to the completion of due diligence for incoming properties into the trust.
- Assist in the delivery of administration of any activities related to Noongar Boodja Trust property function and the broader trust as required.
- Support the work of the Noongar Boodja Trust Senior Trust Manager and Property Manager
- Work with the Property Manager for the Noongar Boodja Trust and the Noongar Regional Corporations to negotiate new and current leases for cultural properties.
- Participate in the preparation and presentation of quarterly and ad hoc reporting for internal and external stakeholder groups including boards.
About you:
- Desirable - Diploma in Property and/or Real Estate or completed and/or undertaking a tertiary qualification in property, planning, or related field, and/or demonstrated experience in these roles.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal and problem-solving skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Salesforce applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Skype, SharePoint etc
- Experience working with First Nations communities or Native Title trusts
