Our client is one of the largest Third Party Claims Administrators in Australia. They are seeking an experienced Claims Team Leader with a Builder's Warranty or Property Claims background to run their professional, well-established team. You will be responsible for managing 10 consultants with varying experience levels in the position.

- Salary up to $130,000 + super depending on experience
- Previous experience in the Builder's Warranty (IDEAL) or Property Claims (STRONGLY CONSIDERED) space for minimum 7 years, with 3 years dedicated team management experience evident within this.
- Previous experience managing a team or in people leadership necessary.
- Ability to prioritise and work to deadlines
- Understanding of operational processes and procedures required in team environments.
- Experience in managing claims and stakeholders effectively
- A team centric approach to leadership
- Exceptional organisational skills
- Great communication skills
- Managing 10 claims consultants at varying levels of seniority in the HBCF Builder's Warranty Property claims space.
- Providing training, decision approvals and support to the team members on complex and contentious claims
- Providing support and advice to policy holders, key claimants and stakeholders
- Liaising with stakeholders when necessary including but not limited to, doctors, nurses, lawyers and litigators.
- Ability to understand policy wordings
- WFH flexibility with head office in Sydney 2000
