A rare opportunity for an experienced Retail Property Manager to join Oroton at an exciting time of growth. This is a permanent, full-time role where you will be responsible for the proactive management of Oroton’s national retail store portfolio (currently 45 stores).
Utilising your strong data and analytic skills, you will regularly measure, assess and review the performance of the existing national store network portfolio, making recommendations on the feasibility of existing and new sites. With a passion for and understanding of customer experience, design and retail innovation, you will support the evolution of our national store network to support Oroton’s growth strategy. This includes identification of new store locations and pop-up/collab opportunities in emerging audience markets.
Key to your success in this role will be your commercial mindset and ability to manage and negotiate lease terms and maintain strong relationships with centre management teams, property landlords and agents. You’ll manage all legal, compliance and administrative matters for the national network.
You will also be a key member of the project team working alongside colleagues from Creative, Brand, VM and Retail Ops to support and deliver new store design, openings, closures and refurbs.
Key requirements:
Proven experience in successful leasing negotiation activity and achieving commercial outcomes
- Superior knowledge in retail commercial real estate nationally with a strong network of contacts
- Confidence and maturity in communication with the ability to build effective relationships
- Ability to lead and influence, initiating change, resolving conflicts with a solution-focused approach
- Superior organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to deliver results effectively
- Quick to recognise and take prompt action to secure favourable outcomes on lease issues/negotiation processes
- Excellent financial acumen, knowing when and how to interrogate costs and budgets
- The ability to travel regularly to sites nationally as needed.
