About the role
We are looking for a Property Manager who can juggle a variety of tasks, including supporting the management of HR, assisting with the management of a portfolio of around 80 properties, and supporting with some administration of the business and finance-related tasks.
You will be reporting directly to the Managing Director.
To be successful in this role, you will have real estate industry experience, ideally in a similar role, or a history of property management experience.
This is a great position, suited to a self-motivated and proactive individual seeking an opportunity in a dynamic and growing short-term management real estate company.
Our office is located within walking distance of Green Square and St Peters stations and the Grounds of Alexandria. There are opportunities to work 2-3 days from home once fully trained.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Monitor productivity and taking care of employee onboarding
- Manage office compliance, including licensing and registration
- Manage long-term leasing properties (only 5% of our book)
- Ensuring processes and procedures are followed in a timely manner and accurately processed
- Train new staff members
- Weekly properties inspection
- Creation of weekly reports
- Arrange cleaning and maintenance
- Other administrative tasks
You will ideally have:
- At least 2 years experience in a similar role
- Hold a Class 1 or 2 Real Estate Agent Licence
- HR experience
- Good with technology, and can easily learn new systems
- Have a ‘can-do’ attitude and willingness to take on new tasks
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Have strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
