Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Property Valuer to join our team in accordance with Australian property laws and regulations. As a Property Valuer, you will play a key role in evaluating residential and commercial properties to provide accurate and reliable valuation reports to our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed inspections and assessments of residential and commercial properties across Australia.
- Utilize Australian Property Institute (API) standards and methodologies to determine property values.
- Research and analyse property data including sales history, zoning regulations, and market trends.
- Prepare comprehensive valuation reports that adhere to API guidelines and Australian valuation standards.
- Consult with clients to understand their property valuation requirements and objectives.
- Stay updated with local and national real estate market trends and regulatory changes.
- Collaborate with real estate agents, lenders, and legal professionals on property valuation matters.
- Provide expert advice and testimony in legal proceedings related to property valuations.
Requirements:
- Certified Practising Valuer (CPV) designation from the Australian Property Institute (API).
- Proven experience in property valuation with expertise in evaluating both residential and commercial properties.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in property valuation software and tools.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple valuation projects efficiently.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to property sites for inspections.
